Best $500 replacement sub for my PSW200

I realize that I can get better sound than my existing band-pass sub and was wondering (like so many others) what is the best $500 (limit) subwoofer on the market. My home theater setup is in my lower level family room with only a open hall entrance with carpeted cement flooring. The room is roughly 12'5" w x 22' long. I mainly use my h/t for movies and TV viewing. I don't need anything that will necessarily shake my wisdom teeth loose, but want nice clean, rich sound out of the sub.
My equipment exists of the following:
Yamaha RX2095 receiver
main - Polk Monitor 10B
center - Polk CS350
rear - Polk LS/Fx
sub - Polk PSW200
As I am a huge, longtime Polk fan, I am leaning towards the DSWPro 500 or the PSW505. Is there a big sound difference between the two? or should I look at other brands/models? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

What Leroyjr1 said.
If you can swing another 100 the new Velodyne DEQ-12R looks pretty good. Or the older DLS-4000R both 12" 60lbs subs that won't disappoint for the price.
cnhCurrently orbiting Bowie's Blackstar.!
Polk Lsi-7s, Def Tech 8" sub, HK 3490, HK HD 990 (CDP/DAC), AKG Q701s

Check on POLK eBay for great deals on DSW pro600 and MPro 3000 may be better than others for the price and performance, especially Pro600 at that price.:D -
A sub ends up with a heavy shipping charge. If you dont mind buying a used one (I love craigslist), then look for local deals. Check for SVS, Hsu, Velodyne.
