DIY magnet re-centering info

I came across this thread on AK and it pretty much duplicates a method I've been thinking up for some time. Low materials cost, and if it doesn't go well, you've still only got a non-functioning driver. If it does go well...bada bing you're back in bidness!!:)

    Cool post. I have about 8 dead drivers...in the landfill:(

    I've never experienced a shifted magnet but if I had, I'm sure that I would've held onto the driver in the hopes of working some sort of repair on it. Don't send any more to the landfill,OK ?:)

    i sent two to the landfill when I bought my SDA's. Haven't had any issues since.

    Does this actually work on the Polk drivers? I have three MW5001's begging to be put back into service.
    Home Theater:

    I don't see why it wouldn't work. You would just need to make the appropriate adjustments for the Polk drivers.

    One of the contributors to the thread specifically mentioned Polk drivers, anyway, nothing ventured=nothing gained ! At worst you'll be out a few dollars for parts and a little of your time.:)
