Good for them! Now who do you think will pick him up?"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

I kinda had an inkling it was going to happen. Gag orders, the rumor mill on SI.com was churning away. There some really odd news stories on SI's Dallas Cowboys page too.
Now, hopefully, someone can put a boot in Romo's keister and get his head back in the game.
Oh, on a side note, Eagles shot themselves in the other foot and let Buckhalter go to the Broncos with Dawkins and Lito Sheppard (whom they rather unfairly left languishing away in obscurity on the bench) when to the Jets. Looks like Philly is cleaning house but they are doing it on the wrong side of the line of scrimmage.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

Packers need to pick him up.

You kidding me? The Packers got a whole pile of problems to deal with that Owens would only exacerbate. Rodgers needs to start playing like an NFL starting QB for one thing. Owens would be nothing but a distraction.
Owens would fit well in a place like Detroit or Oakland where the only way they have to go is up. As much of a **** as he is, he still brings years of experience and a pile of talent that is often overlooked because of his attitude problems.
One other option he could entertain is Washington. Snyder loves sticking it in Jones' ear and he's got plenty of cap room. Plus, Owens would probably love meeting the Cowboys in two, possibly more meetings if both teams reach the playoffs.
The Packers don't need him though. He'd just make an even bigger mess.Expert Moron Extraordinaire
