Correct set up for 2 subs (7.2)?

I have a Sony 820 AVR and I am utilizing the RM10, RM6880, CS2, and the PSW125. First, you've got to know that since I have 2 RM speaker sets, I decided to use the two RM202s as my front right and left speakers. I am using RM101s for my rear right and left, and back right and left. I am using the CS2 as my center, and I am using both subs (the 6880 sub and the PSW sub). The PSW sub is LFE compatible, but the 6880 sub only has RCA jacks and speaker wire options. I could attach a y-RCA adaptor at the back of my 6880 sub, and then run a LFE cable from that adaptor to my AVR using a subwoofer cable? Thus, I would need a second y-adaptor since my PSW sub is already being fed by another subwoofer cable. But, this maybe wrong.
So, my questions are:
1) Which connection options should I use for each of my 2 subs?
2) What crossover setting should each of my 9 speakers be set to?
3) Am I an idiot for mix-matching these speakers the way I have and will I go to Polk Hell for such a configuration?

Hi GBP.
I would run a male to 2 x female splitter from the receiver's LFE out. Then a regular sub cable to your LFE on the newer sub. Then a sub cable with a female to 2x male splitter into the L, R ins on the 6880 sub.
You might check out the splitters and sub cables (Dayton, Esoteric and Sonic Wave) at www.part-express.com.____________________________________________

i agree with mike. i did the same thing. i tried millions of different setups so keep moving the subs until you find a sweet spot. i did and the neighbors that are aporx.50 ft away are complaining about the bass.
there is a sweet spot -
Mike and Vette,
Thanks for your replies; I will give it a go with the 2X y-splitters and ditch my wires to the older sub. If anyone else has feedback for me please share. -
Hey Gottabuy
I've been to Polk Hell and back.
What I learned re. speaker mixing is there are only 2 rules: (1) do whatever sounds best to you and (2) have fun!:)____________________________________________

Thank you Mike21,
I am glad to know I won't be there (Polk Hell) alone. LOL, Gottabuypolk
