can you use the lfe line out to an amp to run a passive sub

a friend of mine wants me to hook up a HT and insisists on using in wall for everything. Will the LFE out from an rxv663 work to the input of an amp to drive a passive in wall sub.

    Yes, but you need to make sure the amp matches the passive subwoofer.

    Yep. I'm doing it but i have an external crossover with gain controls. It really is a vast improvement over a powered sub.
    Try it and see, then let us know how you get on?
    In terms of audio, i truly feel sorry for the visually impaired. How can they know what they like if they cant read google?
