DB651 Speakers: Do they come with speaker wires?

Hi everyone, the title pretty much says it all. I just got my pair of speakers today from Amazon and I was amazed that when I opened the box, I noticed that there weren't any speaker wires in the box. Is that normal? Every other single brand of speakers I've owned in the past has always come with wires (from Pioneer to Infinity). Thanks!

They usually do. Did you buy them from an authorized retailer or Ebay or something?

Either way, run down to Walmart and buy some of their 16 gauge wire. Its something like $12 for 100'.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I bought the speakers from Amazon.com, which I assume is an authorized retailer. In addition to the speaker wire, I also need to get the speaker connectors right? (the connectors that slide over the connectors on the speakers).

The 651 does not come with any wire.

The 6501 component set comes with leads for tweeters and mids, to run to the outboard crossovers.
