Monitor 7C: replacing SL1000 with Peerless tweeters

I have a pair of Monitor 7Cs with SL1000 tweeters which are fuse-protected (no polyswitch on the crossover). I am interested in replacing them with a pair of Peerless K010DT which were originally in a pair of Monitor 10As.
I'm looking for advice as to whether this will work or not and if it will work then what mods I may need to do to either the case or the crossover.
Any help would be most appreciated.

It will work. Did you check the diagrams in the vintage speaker section?Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know.
