I just got a pair of white FXi A4's in today from Polk Direct and they look and sound brand new. You can't tell that they are refurbished.

I was inclined toward the 3 than the 4 because the weight .5lb more and also i did not like the Full grill covering on the 4, apart from these the specs are same.

Thanks. Yes they seemed to be the same spec wise so I could go either way if the price is right

It's all personal preference. I could see the weight issue if you are putting them on stands. Mine are mounted on the wall so that's not an issue for me.

Yeah, I'm going with the wall too. I currently have RT25i's in the rear on the wall and am considering the i3 or A4 instead and moving the rt25i to the back surrounds.

Infact the 3 is heavier than the 4, one of the criteria for my pref for 3.:D

It seems like the demand for black is greater than the white. Unless you are dead set on getting black, you can probably get them in white cheaper.
