Is this speaker better than the RTi38? Or is this too expensive?

The 38 is one generation newer than the 35i.

That seller is WAY to proud of his 35's....

It's all good! Yeah, I was commenting on the seller, wasn't there a buy-it-now feature up for something like $300+? I can't remember now.

I clicked on the link and got an eBay add for speakers that start at 1.00 with a high bid of $195.00. How is the seller out of line, when the bidders drive the price up. The reserve was met prior to the $195.00 high bid. The seller is just the lucky recipent of idiot buyers. Let the buyer beware.

The "Buy it Now" disapears once the reserve is met. There is nothing wrong with a high buy it now. Who knows maybe some sucker will buy it at that price. Good marketing!

    jerryez,

The original questions was were these speakers to expensive at the asking price of 395.00, all we did was lead our fellow polkster I think to see that at that original asking price the speakers were overpriced. I and everyone who responded just want to help someone out who asked for advise. If in turn he went ahead and purchased the speakers at whatever price than the decision was all his, but he could not say we didn't warn him. Just helping a brother out.

For whatever it's worth, the guy has the speakers listed for 10 days, which I've never understood. After 4 price bumps on the first day it was listed(rookies), it hasn't moved from it's $195 resting point(reserve met). While I'm sure there will be a flury of bids the last 1/2 hour of the last day, I 'doubt' they'll go for more than $250.
But then again, they could go for $350.
    Who knows? Certainly not I.

Well....I traded my center speaker (CS245i) in for the CSi30 (C.C. speaker upgrade)....so I'm going to get the RTi38's. Those should match up pretty good. Thanks for the input fellas.
