Garage treasure find: old Kimber 4PR cables

I was rumaging in the garage today, just clearing things out - getting rid of unused junk and I 'rediscovered' my box of old 2 channel stereo rig that had bits and pieces in it.
I found a pair of older Kimber cable 4PR (the style that used a twisted braid of 4 brown and 4 black copper strands).
I put these in my HT rig to drive my fronts and am giving them a second life and evaluation.
Would anyone care to give an opinion if these compare favorably to say Audioquest Type 4s or the newer Kimber 4TCs?
I'll keep these on hand for when I get the demo set of AQ Type4s from NJPolker.
Now if I can just find that 16th century silver set that is worth $100K someplace in my garage....:D

H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.
