Getting the RTi50s

hows it going im getting the FXi50s the bi-polars for rears surrounds my question is do they have to be directly across from each other or can 1 be across from it but about 3 feet behind it i have a different layout its a wierd room if not i have 7.1 system so ill use them for the sides exited about getting them anyway thanks what do you think would be best sounding also do you think these are good speakers i here they are
