What are your thoughts on Nexxtech Ultimate RCA Audio Cables?
I bought these at CC last night a huge markdown!(60% off)
3ft to sub was $2.99 from $20 and the 6ft Stereo Cables were $6.00 from almost $40!
I compared em to the Monster Audio Cables and damn if they don't look the same basic construction.
The Chrome Metal/Gold connectors look identical cept the Monster has their name on em.
Wire looks to be the same super duty diameter.
I know I have seen people post that Monster price is mostly in the name.
Yes when I got these Nexxtech I got what was listed on the package as "Better and "Best" performance grade.
I picked up Audio Connects to go from my Cd's player to my Yammy and the Sub Out cable from my Yammy to my Velodyne.

Better actually!
Sub seems to dig a lil better.
Cd sounds a lil crisper....but then maybe it's just me and not the equipment?
Lot nicer "barbed wire" than was string'in my stuff together before.

Jim, my thought would be that it apparently took a bankruptcy to bring the price of those cables down to a fair level. They'll certainly do the job as well as anything, but it should be noted that suppliers such as MonoPrice and the Tartan Cable division of Blue Jeans Cable feature prices of that sort as a matter of routine.

Maybe a stupid thought.......
I'm thinking there is a mass producer of some of these Cables and some Companies buy into em and get their name on em?
Dang if some of them don't look like they are made of the same materials.
Ex: Monster and these Nexxtech's look so much alike it's scarry!
Just say'in

Yeah, Jim; most of these are from China and the only difference is that some charge a hundred times(or more) what others do.

saw the brand at cc also and was thinking of picking up some of the hdmi cables, looked to be good quality.$15 each, but there were tons left, which kind of change my mind, but now i will give them a try.
