Hey guys...

I am looking to get my hands on a set of mw6511 stereo drivers for my 1c's... I had some time to do some homework on the popping noise I was getting out of the right channel and determined it to be the top stereo driver in that cabinet. I have already ordered my new rdo 194s from Polk and guess I should pop for the new 6511s as well. I know polk has them but I am trying to stay true to my :pcheap **** nature:p by asking if anyone has a set that need a new home... as always my thanks:cool:

Some guy is parting out sda-1's on ebay. Not sure if that's your driver, but he's got BiN at 35 for a pair.

if i can find a set for mine, just pay for shipping and you can have one of the ones I am removing for free

three of them are still great, but I like keeping them matched up

is there a diiference between the ones that polk sells as replacements and the ones in we currently have besides replacements would be new?

    Yes

Vintage MW6511's are hard to find. I bought 2 in 2 years on ebay and I got 4 other ones when I parted out a pair of 1C's

    I needed 3 for my 1.2TL's

I just replaced one because I had an accident with a spackle knife and so i have only two in stock :(

I want more, At least four in stock will make me feel at ease.

If anybody needs any MW6509's, I have 9 and I will trade for MW6511's

what kind of differences are there... are replacements not as good?
