I'm going to BE in Surprise, AZ in about a week.

But no way to get them home from there; and a 1K opening bid seems high anyway.

Might be a little high but they look like they have never been cleaned up or screwed with and are in good shape, coming from an old folks home they should not stink like cats, dogs, or cigs, sometimes thats worth it. I know I looked at some stinky sets and was glad to pay more for nice ones.

$995 seems a little high for a starting bid.

    Starting price is dirt cheap.

Anywhere from $800.00 to $1500.00. Those look super clean.

These came from a Sun City AZ retirement community estate sale. Im sure they were used gently.

That kind of info is what you hope to find on ebay. Only driven on Sundays, playing Dinah Shore, Tony Bennett and Liberace.

I should probably keep my mouth shut given my failing memory of late but I thought:confused: a few of the members had picked up 2.3tl's in the last 4-6 months for $800 - $1000 final price. My initial thinking was $1000 was an OK final price but a little high for starting. They do however look super clean and then you've got that estate sale thing and if true they probably have been treated well. Anybody bought any 2.3tls specifically in the past 4-6 months??

WOw, hard to believe they've got retired folks way out in Arizona.

I think the best way to sell them is with a low starting bid that way the chances are good you'll get some people to start a bidding war. Almost every auction I've seen with a high starting bid didn't go up too much past the starting bid.

If you want a pair of the big boys, that is a good price. They don't make these anymore. Put a bid in so he can't cancel the auction

Well, these would be medium-big boys for me since I have original SRS's and 1C's already. ;)
