Anyone know where this member is? Michael Ulveling

Bottom line he has disappeared off the board after not delivering some items I paid him for in the Flea Market. He gave me most of them but not all of them.

He has been unresponsive now to e-mail and cant use PM, says his box is full.

Yep. I bought a pair of Taylo monitors off him and he eventually bought them back from me.

Didn't he live in a rough part of town? I seem to remember all his gear getting stolen at one point or his apartment getting broken into. Not trying to make a point.... just thinking out loud.

I REALLY hope this gets resolved sooner than later Ted.

    Jason,

I have been pming/emailing for quite a while with no response. I could of went public long ago but kept hoping. He told me he was moving, then he moved and vanished, he also sent me a pm months and months ago saying he would send the remaining pieces so its not like he said, hey Ted I have problem with this that or some other excuse, I mean reason.

You're a good soul Ted. I know that you wouldn't bring this to the Forum's attention unless the situation had hit a flat line. I was just thinking that my impression of him is that he is a bit of a rolling stone. NO EXCUSES. Just trying to wrap my mind around the situation. He was a bit of a consistent presence on the Forum, so this situation is really unnerving.

I really respect how long you waited to bring this out in the open, but I fear it may not have worked in your favor. IMO, it may be time to act.

He didn't live in a rough part of town. He just lived in a ground floor apartment and had too much nice stuff! Ground floor apartments get broken into in the best parts of town.

Mike seems to be doing just fine from what I've read at HeadFi. He just sold set of cans that retail at $3k and is talking about buying some Tannoys that seem to run about $9k used.

Hope this works out. That guy always seemed to be pretty legit but guess you don't know everyone as well as you think.

Too bad. Guy was always talking about his $5K+ cans, headphone amps, turntable, speakers, etc. and now he's leaving a good guy hanging. Pretty bush league.

Apparently he is not too busy to keep selling things at HeadFi.

I left a little not over there for him on public display. It may get deleted by the mods, it may get me banned. I don't really care because I hardly visit that forum anymore.

Absolutely bogus. Carl may need to send a pod (or is it a tribe?) of Krakens to resolve this.

I've just now contacted Ted to confirm his address is still the same. The Gammas are boxed up and ready to go now.

Yes, I botched this transaction, yes I forgot about the stupid pair of Auralex Grammas. To be fair, it should be mentioned THIS WAS A LOCAL PICKUP DEAL. Ted picked up a pile of acoustic treatments for a HUGE discount from MSRP, and he was FREE AT ANY TIME to say something like "hey I'm not pleased with the value I'm receiving here so I'm going to walk away with my cash" or "gee, where are those Gramma platforms". Yes, I botched it, but this is a VERY IMPORTANT distinction.

Not that any of that will matter since you all have quite a nice momentum going to your bashing...enjoy! :p
