The ONKYO DVD/SACD player has no sub on the multi channel when playing a SACD. i have PINK FLOYD DSOTM on sacd 5.1 when playing my sub it won't come on. i have all the RCA's hooked up. am i doing something wrong? i can't figure it out, i have gone into the receiver setup and all looks good, but i don't know. anybody else had this problem? it sounds great without it but would like to know what i am doing wrong.

Thanks,

Larry.

You might need to go into the audio options menu on the DVD player and manually turn the sub on. I had the same problem when I first hooked my Cambridge DVD89 up, trying to play the same CD.

There should be an option somewhere in the menu to turn the sub on, I'm guessing that's your problem.

    1. If all else fails....RTFM.

    2. Your receiver likely has independent memory settings for all inputs. Check the levels.

    3. See #1.:D

Are you using RCA from the source to the receiver or are you using a digital cable from the source to the receiver?
