Depends on what you want to spend, you can get a set of LSi7 reburb bookshelves for 349 a pair on the polk ebay store. Which is a good start? Then match the center if you can?

I would like to buy used preferabbly. I have r300 as fronts I was about to buy the cs10 cause I heard that the matching csr for the r300 was not that great.

The CS10 wouldn't be a bad match for that. The tweeters are a bit different of course. And there are a lot of those on the ebay site at a very good price.
