Ok, After a bunch of mess regarding getting a pair of r50 towers, i wound up getting a pair of Rti-A3 speakers and wall mounting them up front instead. They sound fantastic. However, I am still using my cheesy old sony surround speakers in the back. My center is a CSi 25

I have narrowed my choices to R150, Atrium45, or RM7

the Atriums will blend in and dissapear. I think the RM7 will as well.
the R150 is just a standard block of mdf hanging there.
I am really leaning toward the Atrium because of appearance and ease of mounting.

this is a 5.1 with the speakers on the wall at ceiling level, pointed down and forward at the listening area. Its a vaulted ceiling, so the Atrium would be on the ceiling and facing about 15 degrees down.

opinions? Am I barking up the wrong tree?
sadly, my budget for surrounds is only about 100$ or so. How can i get the best use of it?

I am looking at this same scenario. I will have RTi A3's for my fronts, CSi A4 for my center. Looking to get the RM7 or RM8's for my surrounds instead of the FXi's due to size constraints. Not quite sure what route that I want to go yet.

I feel your pain brother! Im getting my R50 towers friday, i use the R150's for surrounds and in my opinion they sound fantastic for the money. Im sure you will get loads of advice for speakers but if your budget is limited like mine I think you will love the R150's. Good Luck!
