FS: Emotiva LMC-1

Up for sale is an Emotiva LMC-1 that I've had for about 6 months. I am the second owner and it has about 3.5 years left on its warranty. The warranty is transferrable. I need to send it in for warranty repair for a hissing sound its giving off through the speakers, so I am offering the following:

$280 + shipping for me to mail it to you and then you can send it in for repair if you feel like it is necessary

OR

$305 + shipping for me to send it in for warranty service and then i mail it to you when i get it back.

Paypal is the preferred method of payment and i don't charge a markup to cover fees or anything like that.

    I'm confused. Why not just get it fixed and then offer it up for sale?

    I forgot to mention that the unit is in fantastic condition, basically like new.

    I'm planning on doing that but I'm offering it at a reduced price for anybody who is willing to do that on their own if they feel its necessary. The price difference would more than cover shipping to Emotiva if they did it themselves.

    Unfortunately I do not. I'm pretty sure the original owner used it or is going to when the UMC comes out. If you are interested in the LMC still please let me know and we can work something out.

    Thanks for the reply. Sami figured out my path, which isn't difficult to discern. I'm on the pre-order list for a UMC-1, and your LMC-1 Certificate would allow a 40% discount (which is $280). I have two of Emo's amps right now, using a Pio Elite VSX-84txsi as a pre/pro and am ready for the UMC-1 whenever it arrives. The LMC-1 would be fun to play with in the meantime, then probably go to a secondary system.

    Indeed, let me know if you are interested. I will send it off for warranty repair this week unless someone wants it at the discount offered.
