Looking for a stereo amplifier. Would like to keep it under $200 if possible. Let me know what you have.

Prefer 60wpc or greater.

    How about a Carver TFM-6CB?

    I have a couple and would be willing to sell one (or both). PM me and we can go from there.

    Neither have been used in about 2 years but when they were in use, they were both GREAT performers for the money. I have used them individually in stereo mode as well as together in bridged/mono mode to power my front speakers.

    The Adcoms would be a good choice as well.

    Here's a quick pic of what they look like.

    Specs are:

    65WPC into 8 ohms both powered stereo
    100WPC into 4 ohms both powered stereo
    200WPC into 8 ohms bridged

    Features passthrough/daisy chain feature, gain inputs on front (I've hooked it up directly to iPod with good results) A&B speaker hookups (nice feature for those with a lot of speakers or 2-zone operation), etc.

    Still looking, those Carver's are enticing but I am holding out to see if anything else comes along.

    Need something to power my newly acquired RT7's.
