OWM3 or FXi3 ?

Hi,
I am upgrading my HT and am deciding between these two surrounds. I have RTi8s for the mains and CSi4 for the center. Polk tells me that both are a good match. Because the location of my surrounds is less than ideal, I want something with a wide surround field. Both can be had for $150, which is around my budget.

Welcome to the forum.
FXi 3 is part of the RTi line so, I'd stick with that choice.I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE! -
Just bought my FXi3 and really like them.
Was about to get the OWM3, but I like big speakers. Both are pretty good choices and will do the job. -
Thanks for the help. Do you see a big difference between them? My better half would prefer the size of the OWM3 and I am just looking to get good surround.

Yes. The FXi3 is noticeably larger. Your better half would probably like the OWM3. Very versatile speaker.

I am not sure if you have made up your mind yet, but if you decided to go with the OWM3, and you don't care which color, Newegg.com has the black ones on sale for $129.99. The whites (which you can paint) are still $199.99. This may persuade you one way over the other. Let us know what you decided. -
I had the same dilemma, but went on and ordered Fxi3 had a great price on P eBay store paid around 140 with shipping.:D, IMHO its not that heavy to put on the wall and even the size is pretty small comparitively.

cant get out of the office (evening need to go to church
folks if you have forgotten its Ash Wednesday) so its only over the weekend or friday night my audition will start. My hands are itching already, and i have a serious disease diagnosed by POLK Community forum as "ADDICTION TO POLK":p -
I just got my OWM3s, and likely won't be able to mount and hook them up until the end of March, with my wedding coming up next week. But my home theater setup project shall begin after I return from our honeymoon, that's a promise.:D

Anyone else use the OWM3s as surrounds/rears yet? Anyone have details on the OWM5s (out any day now)?
