And are these worth $200? I've already emailed the guy, waiting for response.

Those are SDA-2B "Studio Version" and worth $200 easy IMHO.
I have a set that look brand new and really like them.

The first ones look like Monitor 4.5's. They don't appear to have the original tweeters anymore though. The speaker that's laying down in the picture looks like it has a big white ring around the tweeter...not sure if that's the picture or not though. For 20 bucks it might be worth it.

For 200 bucks I'd take those SDA2's. They tend go anywhere from 180 up to 300 dollars or so.

metal, if you get those SDAs you're going to kick yourself about the A7s...there won't be any going back from the dark side ;)

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO

    Oppo BDP-83SE

    That's what worries me..lol
I'm just dying to try some SDA's though, especially after hearing how so many people on this forum praise them. ;)

That's the problem with upgradeitus and forums in general (this forum in particular). There are a lot of very good speakers out there. Once you hear about them, then hear them and if they are affordable, it's hard to remain satisfied. If you give those 2Bs a listen, I'm pretty sure you'll be swapping out speakers again. It might not cost you anything. You can probably flip the A7s without a problem. The A6 is a very workable center with SDAs and you can do the surrounds anytime. Other than making everyone's head spin with the velocity of your upgrades (and burning yourself out), it might not be a bad deal.

I have three words for you.

    Two channel rig.

Nuff said. Keep the RTi's for the HT setup, and get a two channel rig going with some SDA's. That would be my suggestion anyway.

The guy emailed me back today, he still has them. I'll probably try to set something up to check them out this weekend, if he still has them by then that is.
