Phil after trying many cables it's obvious they make a big difference. The most surprising recent example was using different IC's with SDA's. The SDA effect was totally gone with one set of IC's. My buddy and I thought that there was something wrong with the speakers. We swapped out the IC's and the SDA were back in full effect.

Ben, I also believe cables make a difference. But for me personally, I have to draw a line in the sand when it comes to spending $$$ & buying into too much cable manuf BS. There comes a point where the $$$ spent is not returned in performance. This is where everyone must decide for themselves.
I would rather put that same money into properly placed quality room treatments. Now this is one area that the $$$ spent is absolutely returned in performance. The difference in sound quality is quite audible without the shadow of a doubt.
