Need to update speackers?

Hi i have a onkyo txsr303 65 watt a/v recever.it has polk rm6005 on it for sat's and a ps10 sub. what speackers would be a good upgreaid for this recever?? or is it better to just up everthing??

Upgrading everything would be best. But if that's too much. Start with the Fronts, then the Center at least.

Look for efficient larger sized bookshelves or towers like the M series or the TSIs.

Depends on your budget. You have some limitations in terms of the power the Onkyo can generate so I'd stay with the above lines!

Cnh is right on the money for the course to take. Thats how i upgraded, Rm6750, Rti6 bookshelves, and ultimately Rti-a7's. Of course like he made mention, bring up your center also, which is really your most important speaker.

a buddy looking at getting a 7.1 system.where do the other two speackers go?? i have a 5.1 and didnt know when he asked

I run a 5.1 system myself. 2 in fact. The surround back go a few feet or so depending on your room directly behind the listening position as the surrounds are pretty much on either side of you.
