Hi all,
I've owned a pair of LS 50s since new and I have them coupled with a Velodyne sub and CS250 for home theater. Really like the punch delivered by the Velodyne and the imaging of the LS 50s. They're a little small for serious bass on their own, but using a crossover point of 70 hz on the 12" sub, it allows them to really add midrange punch.
I have an older Pioneer SX838 receiver in the garage with Sansui 200 speakers on it. Now, I'm looking for another system for my shop. Missed out on a pair of Monitor 10s on the local CL for $25!! Hoping to find another nice set of old Polks. Shop is a little small for SDAs but I'd make due if I found some. Thinking of Monitor 7s as well.

Stick around and you'll enjoy it with out a doubt. There is even alot of humor to go along with great audio.

where abouts are you tripleguy? I just listed a thread about a pair of 10B's on ebay that end in 5hr's, the bidding is only at $20! oh and welcome to the forum. Most of them only hear how loud it sounds, and the rest of us hear everything else - -

Just a bit west of there in WI. Snowing and 20 degrees as we speak! Nice speakers at a great price though. Someone will get a great deal!
Missed out on a Fisher TX-500 receiver the other day too. Local guy who listed it on CL too late in the evening for me to pick it up (after 10:00 pm). I emailed and told him I want it - will pick it up in the AM and he emails back at 01:00 am that he "discovered a problem with the unit and can't sell it like that." The problem with the unit was that he was asking $39 and he was the original owner! The wood case alone is worth twice that! Got to be quick on the trigger I guess.Polk LS 50
