Do I need to worry about having unshielded speakers next to my PC tower? Say, less than two feet away? The monitor is LCD, so I am really just worried about the hard drive I think...

My $.02 don't worry if speakers are 2' away for a TV. Also I think LCD don't have the trouble on the picture with magnetic, it was a issue for tube pictures old TV's.

I would say no. What speakers do you have? I mean, I doubt your speakers have super powerful magnets that can reach across even one foot, much less two feet.

The speakers aren't yet built, but they are going to use 9 6" Dayton drivers, which are unshielded. Again I am worried about my computer (mostly the hard drive) not the display.

    Thanks again,
