Are "demo" speakers purchased from Fry's (instore) still covered under the factory warranty?

Com'on ....There's a nice set of Polk demo's at Fry's "calling" my name

Ah, man. You had to ask on a Friday after Polk closes it doors for the weekend, didn't you. I don't know if anybody here could confirm that without contacting the horses mouth at Polk headquarters. Your best bet if nobody chimes in would be to call Polk HQ first thing Monday morning and get your answer straight from them. Sorry, that's unfortunately the best I can offer you at the moment. You might could see if Fry's will take a refundable deposit to hold them until you find out from Polk, but honestly, I doubt that they will.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

Yeh , I know my timing is lousy (weekend , no phone call to Polk) , but I was at Fry's yesterday (for a family member favor) and "just happened" across the demos for a nice price . Unfornately Fry's wont/cant save'em for me (their policy) , but they said they have been there for about 2+ weeks with no real inquiries/interest (mostly due to the metal jumpers missing on the one speaker) .
Guess I could wait to monday for a definitive answer , however I was really hoping to grab'em this weekend , as Frys is a bit of drive and I'll need to borrow a van for the pick-up .
I too would suspect that they are coverd by the factory warranty . O well , I'll ponder this situation abit more for today .

I just happened to come on the forum today... yes they'll be covered under manufacturer's warranty-so long as you are the original purchaser, just hang on to the sales receipt.-Eric
