Just ebay-ed a Nikko AD100 amp.

Stated specs 110 wpc peak 600 wpc

Anybody have any stories about these amps?

    I had a 2 channel Nikko receiver back in the 80's. Pretty decent.

    Decent would be the word I would use to describe the Nikko Alpha II I had in my rig as a loaner when lightning struck my rig a year or two ago.

    The model of this one is AD-100. I can't really find any info on the web about it, but i couldn't let it go for 85 dollars plus shipping. Power consumption is stated @ 650 watts, So i figure it should do what's expected. I have been wrong before though.

    Eh, you might be pleasantly surprised. It depends on where you are at on your audio journey. For $85 bucks? Worth at least a try IMO.

    If you don't like it put it back out on eBay and get you money back. Someone is always looking for and buying these things.

    thuffman, No doubt.

    I have had a pair of Monitor 12'ls for about 3 years now and have not powered then with anything but a weak Pioneer receiver. So i can't wait till it comes so i can make me ears bleed...
