Go to Jail for one full year, if upon your release you're handed $1 million in cash?

I heard this question on the radio today while i was working. A lot of callers said they would do it, but only if they could be guaranteed that they would not have to worry about "dropping the soap"...lol :eek::eek:

I would absolutely, without question go to jail for one year for one million dollars.

Are we talking county jail? Prison? Solitary confinement with Big Bubba?...lol

Assuming that it's prison...Hell yes. You'd get used to it after the first couple weeks. The year would be gone before you know it. It's not as if you're locked up in one room the whole time...you still have a job that you go and do every day, you get to go outside for a while every day...there's exercise equipment and whatnot.

edit- Wait...is this one million tax free? That could change things.

Man this is too funny, but I'm with Curt on this one, gotta be tax free. I get to excercise, kick back, etc.

Give me a cool pair of Converse, and I'd be Ballin'!

No need for anymore trips to the PLaSMa CeNTeR. And if Bubba busted a roid, you'd get it
    all back. ;)

Exactly...except for the bubba part. I don't exactly picture myself as the "getting **** raped in prison" type...lol It would be great to be able to quit taking these bi-weekly trips to the plasma center though. It's really starting to take a toll on me. I've lost like 45 pounds in the last week. Is that bad?...lol

If I came out with a million dollars...I would be building a badass sound system. In my new house at that. I'd go and pick it all up in my new car as well. Though I might have to end up taking the new truck instead, just to fit it all.

Then the rest of the money would get put into savings, and I'd be able to live fairly comfortably for the rest of my life. Granted I'd still have to work...but not quite as much...lol

    I couldn't tell you, i've never been to jail....:p;)

I'm honestly not sure if i'd do this or not. It's a lot of money, but also a long time. I'm willing to bet a year in jail would feel much longer than a year of freedom. I guess i'd have to have the offer actually presented to me to really know if i'd do it or not.

The things i could do with $1 million though...."daydreams"...(maybe i would do it) :D

That would be the primary drawback...I'd definitely have some catching up to do once I got out.:p

I'd have plenty to post about though once I went out and spent a chunk of my million on a ton of audio gear...lol

No...they don't have the internet in jails though...at least not that I'm aware of...lol Unless you're one of the above mentioned "important people".

I'd do it, IF, I got my own private cell. My rig & a Lazyboy. Steak and lobster dinner twice a week. And if all the clean hookers were put in my crib for the weekends with a couple ounces of blow. :p

I'm pretty sure they can usually arrange that.

I've heard that the hookers and blow in jail are second to none.

I wonder what kind of acoustics you'd get in a 6x8 concrete cell with a metal bunk and all bars for one of the walls...hmm...

I had to do 5 yrs in my younger/wilder days. DUI... 4 of 'em. I hope no one looks down on me due to this. The only problem I had in prison was not being able to see my family and other loved ones while I was there.

If tax-free, I will even drive myself to the closest one to where I live....which just so happens to be a minimum security prison next to an IMAX theater and Barnes and Noble bookstore

Otherwise, I don't think so. Ok, maybe the women's prison.

If I still had my job when I got out, I'd do it for 500 k. (assuming that's tax free)
250k I'd have to think long and hard about it, any less, not a chance.

    I'd do 2 years for 5 mil.
