I purchase a pair of PolkTSi200 bookshelf speakers and a pair of Sanus 30" steel speaker stands.

I thought that I read somewhere that I could screw mount the speakers to the stands.

Does anyone have any information on this?

I'm sure you could screw mount them, but I wouldn't myself. They're going to forever have screw holes in them afterwards.

Which specific stands did you get? Do they have holes to accommodate screw mounting? If they don't...you could probably drill your own in them if you have a decent drill.

If the bookshelf doesnt have any threads in the bottom try using reusable adhesive (also called poster putty).

    something like THIS
