I need a new sub for my system polk rm20. Right now I have a very old sony sa-wm40 sub and while many have said that its good, it seems like it doesn't have what im looking for. to me i hear more of the bass than feel it. looking for a sub for 250 or less that will rumble my seats when watching movies mainly. occassionally i will listen to music with it. any opinions on what to get thanks.

The PSW 505 is a good Polk sub selling for $250-$300.

If what is missing is seat shaking, maybe consider some bass shakers for your seating. Also, when it come to your sub, you could had a second one. This kind of set-up works best when one sits on top of the other however, some will use one front and one at the rear. RM 20 definitely needs a sub but its power is determine by your taste and the size of your room. I only use a PSW 110 to drive my RM20 5 pack and it is sufficient for my taste. At the pricing of the 5050 now, I guess this would be a sound investment.

    Cheers :)

x2 on the PSW505. That subs a great deal for the prices they're going for right now. From Amazon you can get one for about 285 shipped.
