Hey Polk gurus,
Good to see this place still running smoothly. and proud to say i am still a monitor 12 fan. (even throughout all my battles with these power hungry beast)
I think i am finally onto something. I just put some money down on a 1985 Harmon Kardon -PM665 integrated amp, 100 w/chan. Specs:
100w into each channel @ 8 ohms
60 amps of instantaneous current capability
And am hoping that this thing will kick the a$$ of my
Pioneer (1992 year)
VSX d503s receiver
- 110w RMSx2 stereo
- 75w RMS x3 pro logic,
- 20w RMS x2 surround.
I guess my question is, anybody have any experience with this amp?
Anyhow, Good to be back and yes, the socks are off for good!

I love how music can brighten up a bad day. -
I thought it was fairly amusing also. The Polk Ogre doesn't always get 'it'
