Up for sale is a Sony VPL-VW10HT projector. I have positive feedback under the same username at eBay, Blu-ray.com, and Audiogon. I use PayPal preferably but can make an exception if there is no other way for you to pay. My projector thread sale is located here at Blu-ray.com.

Here is my description there of the projector:
Upgraditis has struck again! I have an ISF calibrated Sony VPL-VW10HT projector for sale. It has a lamp with about 400 hours on it (currently installed) with around 1600 hours left on it. I will also include a spare bulb that has about 1000 hours left on it as well. I will include all original packaging, the remote, a ceiling mount, the extra bulb, and a 35' component cable. It has two component ins and is 1080i/720p. The colors on it are absolutely fantastic and it is very bright. It can project an image up to 25 feet diagonally. It also has a very good zoom option so you can have the projector very close to the screen and still have a huge image. It works in every room, no matter the size too. I can help with choosing a proper screen too. PM me with offers. This projector will smoke most LCD TV's out today in color accuracy and vibrancy. There is no catch. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. I'm looking to sell soon. I will also trade for a Benchmark DAC1or PS Audio Digital link III in good condition. If you don't think you'd ever be able to afford an awesome HD projector or get one that would work for your room, think again! Thanks for looking!

Some more information about getting it connected:
By the way, anybody looking to integrate their HDMI devices with a projector such as this (without HDMI or DVI) will need to get this for everything to work. You will not get upconverting with anything unless you use HDMI. Send me offers and I may just include one for you. I can help you get everything connected too. Just tell me what you need to connect and I may even throw in an applicable video switch for it and a cable for you to connect your computer to.

More info:
Here is one of the same projectors for sale on eBay. Here is another. Notice none come with nearly the same amount of useful extras that I will include with this purchase.

If anyone absolutely needs a hard number, I'm looking, for the cost of the projector and everything I am including and shipping to be $800. That's all you need to dive into the world of HD projectors. The difference between regular LCD TV's and a projector is just not comparable. You get so many advantages with projectors over LCD TV's, especially with size. You can even get an inflatable screen for outdoors and have the projector setup for night time viewings.

Like I said, if there are any questions, please PM me. I am trying to get this sold soon and am losing another dear friend () to upgraditis! Please, help me end this suffering (by fueling my upgraditis needs)!

Part of my PM to someone who used to be interested:
It (the projector) can be placed basically on the floor and projected up onto the wall or screen if you wanted. The projector has digital lens shift that allows you to move the lens and significantly adjust the horizontal and vertical lens. Plus, the built-in legs that are adjustable and the huge throw distance (means you can have it very close and still have a big screen or have it far away and even totally off-center and have an aligned image). Trust me, this projector will work in any situation. Like I said, if you put the projector somewhere weird or totally off center, you can still get a centered, properly fit image with the tons of adjustments it has.

I can post pics if you want. Any questions will be answered by me ASAP. I'm looking to sell by March.

I also have a thread here about trading it for some DAC's. I will also consider a trade for an Onkyo TX-SR805 or higher receiver. Send me your offers! :)

Sorry for all this confusion guys! As mentioned in my quotes of the projector sales thread at Blu-ray.com, my terms are mentioned in the "More Info" section quote in my first post. I do regret not being clear about the price.

To put this into perspective, I have it currently placed about 10ft. away from the lens of the projector to the screen and have it on about 1/4 zoom filling a ~72" DIY screen with about 4" on the top and bottom going over to fill the screen. It can go probably over 100" at 10' so at 8', I'm sure you can get a pretty good sized image (around 92" or more). :)

The throw distance can vary greatly ( a good thing) and you can adjust the lens vertically and horizontally for even the poorest positions of the projector you can think of. :)

No I'm Driver_King there and at Blu-ray.com and Audiogon. By the way, the projector he is selling doesn't come with a 25' component cable, a 10' computer cable (a proprietary cable by the way), an extra bulb, ISF calibration or ceiling mount.

I'm just trying to cover myself. I just don't understand everyone being hostile. It's not like it's a bad deal. I'm being very generous and don't know what else I can do to make you guys happy. There are sales here for multi-thousand dollar speakers, amps, and cables. What's wrong with me posting my projector for sale? Is it too cheap? Please enlighten me...

12 out of 16 (now 17 I guess) posts are from the OP, that has got to be a record-breaking ratio.

    According to projection calculations here:

    http://www.projectorcentral.com/Sony-VPL-VW10HT-projection-calculator-pro.htm

It looks like 65-75" diagonal. Not quite 92 inches. :(

Edit--sorry Justin, I didn't see your post before I put this in here. I am not interested, but just trying to be helpful.

That's still not bad for 8'. I was estimating (I never did exact measurements:o). At 8' though, any larger and you'll be seeing the pixels and will not benefit very well with surround sound so close to the screen. Back on topic though.;)
