setting up my new amp

Ive got kinda a dumb question. I just bought a parasound halo a23 amp and a P3 pre amp, I already have a yammy htr 5790. My plan was to hook up the a23 to my fronts and let the yammy run the rest of the set up, but it was to good of a deal to pass up the p3. So can I also use this in my set up or should I just sell the P3. Im kinda new to this whole thing so any help would be helpful.
Sig to be updated after dealing with the insurance company:(:(:(

The P3 is a fantastic preamp, but it is only a 2 channel. If you are using the Yamaha to power/process an HT, the P3 will not help you. The A23 will be great to power your fronts though. :)

The P3 has Direct Bypass so you can hook the P3 it up to your AVR and use the P3 for stereo audio sources. Should be a sound improvement over the avr for CD play.
