    I have the A-30 and it is in 9/10 shape only because it is a 1 year old.

    BTW the A-30 will upconvert to 1080P whereas the A-2 only ups to 1080I
    It also has the decodes DDHDand DDD+

    I know all of this, but I am looking for a cheap(er) upconverter, and the TV that it will be connected to is 32" 1080i screen, so no difference between 1080i and 1080p there.

    What's your asking price?
