rti a speakers grills

have you guys noticed that without the speakers grills the speakers sounds much much better ?

    I don't notice it. But i do like the way they look w/o them.

    I think POLKAUDIO has made a mistake with the grill, because without them the bookshelf speaker (RTI A1/A3) sounds much much better and I'm not an audiophile. I can't explain why but the grill color the sound and you have to remove it to hear your speaker like you should have from day 1.

    I’m certain room acoustics, speaker placement, associated equipment, the recording itself, and personal taste will dictate whether, or not one would prefer the grills on, or off. That being said, I prefer the sound of both the A7’s, and A3’s with the grills on.:)
