as long as all the drivers are working properly you should jump on them, offer him 150 and go from there
Most of them only hear how loud it sounds, and the rest of us hear everything else -

Do the 11's use a passive radiator like the other Monitor's do? I've seen these around before, and they're usually described as having a "fluid coupled subwoofer". This isn't a passive radiator I take it? The way it's worded, it doesn't sound like it's an active driver either though.

    Can anyone elaborate on that?

$200.00 for Monitor 11's is a very good deal. Don't insult the guy with a low ball offer, just buy them.

Curt, the term fluid coupled subwoofer is just another way of describing a passive radiator.

    Thanks for clarifying that Jesse.:)

And yes, at 200 I'd jump on it. I've seen them sell for around 250, to upwards of 300. Go for it.

When you go to look at them, in addition to what Sal suggested, another thing you'd want to do is check for air leaks.

To do this, press in gently on the passive radiator and hold it in. The two midwoofers should extend fully out, and stay out for a few seconds, then start moving back in very slowly. If they move back in real fast, or don't even stay out at all, then there are some airleaks.

Thanks for all the feedback! Great Advice on the Coil rub thing and the Air suspension. This is an great Site!

The guy Also had an Pair of Eosone RSF-400's, a couple of the tweeters were fried so he was only asking 25 bucks for them. I snagged them as well. I put them in the garage until I find a pair of the Tweeters. I have seen several woofs for sale but no tweeters for the RSF-400's.
