Hey guy's!
Does anyone know what current polk surround speakers would work best with SDA SRS 2's in the front and a CSi5 in the center?

Which SDA SRS 2's do you have. The blade/blade type or pin/blade type. The blade/blade are 4 ohm speakers. The pin/blade are 8 ohm speakers and are bi-ampable. If you have the 4 ohm speakers you will need the proper gear to run them. Some will say to amp them by themselves with a 4 ohm amp. It would be interesting to hear the old SDA SRS 2 4 ohms matched to the LSIC and some LSI 7's in the rear. All of those speakers are 4 ohms. Let us know what you have. I have both kind of SDA SRS 2's.Polk HT system 1: LSIC, LSI25 mains, LSI F/X rears, Lsi F/X rear centers,
Yamaha RX-V2500 System, Carver A753 3 channel amp.
Polk HT system 2: , SRT system with f/x 1,000's rear speakers on 7.1 system currently using Onkyo TX-RZ820 receiver, powered by Sunfire Grand Theater amp
Polk Speaker collection: SDA SRS 1.2tl x 2, SRT system, SDA SRS 2 P/B, SDA 2A, SDA 1C Studio, SDA CRS+, Monitor 7B & 4, SRS 3.1tl, RTA 15tl, LS90, LSI 9 -
I have the pin/blade SRS 2'S, they are powered by a McIntosh 2255.
The CSi5 is powered by a Denon 3805 as well as 2 pairs of 4.6's for surrounds.
Beleive it or not.... it sounds amazing as a home theater.
I just figured it's about time to upgrade to some new polk surrounds. -
Sounds like you have the bi-amp ones that are 8 ohms. You may want to try monitor 7'cs in the rear. They should have the sl2000 tweeters in them and would match up with your SDA SRS 2's. If you want something newer I would look at some of the newer di-pole speakers like a F/X 30i like I have. I don't know the numbers off hand that match your center speaker. I am sure they have smaller speakers for the rear in that line. Let us know how you make out.Polk HT system 1: LSIC, LSI25 mains, LSI F/X rears, Lsi F/X rear centers,

Accually the 4.6's I am using have the sl2000 tweeters.
Think it might be better to just keep them or look into the FXiA6's? I beleive the FXiA6's use the same tweeter as my CSi5, which was recomended to use with older Polk speekers.
