I just picked up a DB1240DVC -- it's rated at 360W RMS. Two questions:
1) Does anyone know if this is 360W total or 360W per voice coil?
2) Assuming it's 360W total, my amp only puts out 275W into 8 ohms. It is not 2 ohm stable, so I must wire the coils in series. Will 275W get the job done?

Its 360 RMS total.
Yes, 275 will work. Obviously 360-400 would work better but 275 will do the trick.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Thanks for the reply, guys. Cody, right now I'm riding my sneakers... I used to ride a Honda VFR and then stopped street riding altogether and raced Suzuki SV-650's. Lack of time and the crappy economy is keeping me off 2 wheels for the time being...
