Question ??? on SACD

....does the laser read SACDs in a Sony DV-45A player or does the internal DAC have something to do with it. Want to KNOW if it is better to send audio out to MSB Link III dac or use the internal dac's of Sony.

As far as I know, there are NO outboard DACs that read SACD.TNRabbit

....Thank you Guys for reply. Yes, it is a Pioneer deck. Nice to know. The SACD player is in a separate HT system comprised of cast offs.
