Since, I was unfamiliar with the other stores and everyone seems to like S&M (with some resellerratings) I called and took advantage of their price match policy and 10$ more. Got the price matched to a www.federalstereo.com and got 1x7" and 1x10" Lovan Legacy Hifi stands with clear glass shipped for 392$.
The same should have costed me 500$ according to S&M website prices -

What a difference The sound is much cleaner than my AVR (Onkyo 805) and notice difference even at lower volumes. Although, I probably could have got by for sometime using the Onkyo by itself. I didn't have any IC's so am using a Monster composite cable (RGB) that I bought a few years back.
I will post pics once I get my surround stands and the amp stands. -
Sorry if this is a bit of a hijack. I too have an 805. I have a pair of LSi15's heading to me from Polk Direct. Certainly an XPA-3 or 5 would work for me. But in the interest of saving some bucks I had this idea. Looking for opinions...
What if I bi-amped with my 805 to the mids/tweeter and a UPA-2 to the woofers. Seems to me that would take some load off the 805 and give some decent power to the woofers for only $270.

Also purchased an SVS PC-12 NSD to replace my Dayton 12" down firing budget sub that I had purchased from Parts Express about 4 yrs back.
The sub arrives on Tuesday, can't wait
I am thinking about using REW (Room Equalization Wizard) with a RadioShack digital meter OR a used ECM8000 Mic to calibrate the subwoofer. But, I don't know anything about the program and need to do alot of digging and not sure if I have enough time
Btw, I took a measurement of my living room.
* its got vaulted ceilings with open area to upstairs bedrooms on left and open area into kitchen
* Ceilings in living room are about 15-18 ft (sloped)
* living room seating area is 15ftx15ft
I will post pics once I get the subwoofer set up -
So, I received my order of two 30' Twelve White Blue Jean Cable terminated at both the ends for my surrounds (LSiFX).
The cable is very well made and had a tough time passing it through the holes I got made to run the cable under the floor. These are thicker than what I had before.
But the main thing I wanted to mention was that I had them terminated both ends with Bananas and that was a mistake. My Onkyo 805 cannot take the bananas that come with BJC I had to remove the plugs on one end and connect bare wire to terminals. What a waste.
Also, I see that the termination was regular style that I could have done myself. Anyway, figured this might be helpful info if someone is going to order cable from BJC to connect to Onkyo's. -

Bare wire does provide the best connection, so it is not a total waste.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

I said that because I paid 28$ extra for bindings on one end that I did not even use. I had to take them off to put bare wire into the receiver.
