I've heard of this particular offensive format, now it may be banned.

Well, I can see why other team don't like it, but that's too bad. It's the opposing coach's job to figure out how to defend against it, and if he doesn't know how, he should be studying the same stuff as the coach that's using that for an offense.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

You took the words right out of my fingers. It is a legal formation so I don't get all the hubbub.

I'm surprised Belichick hasn't tried it. SOUNDS like something he'd do.

If its so hard to stop and legal, perhaps coaches should stop whining and start using it.

Welllll, if you really read about it it's only legal on a technicality. Jersey numbers are supposed to designate position to an extent, so the rule says that players with certain jersey numbers can be eligible receivers. This team has skirted the rules, in a sense, by not giving their players the correct jersey numbers. Their lineman essentially don't have lineman numbers, and thus are eligible by default.

If their players were wearing the correct numbers for their position this would be illegal, so it seems pretty sketchy to me.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
