Doesnt' sound like it was anything for consumer use, but for industrial / food services use :

Unless you buy your peanut butter from Costco, I guess.

Industrial use, yes... which means it may be in those packages of peanut butter crackers you eat in the afternoon... or that peanut butter frosting that's on your doughnut.

The makers of many products buy their supplies from this company, so it could be rebranded under many different products. That's why we've seen lots of different brands pull their products from the shelf already.
    Ludicrous gibs!

The guy wanted to make money off of the peanuts on the floor. What a greedy bastage.

Yeah I didn't think of the repackaging / rebranding aspect.

And I just had some Ritz cracker pb sandwiches with lunch too... dammit.

The Ritz ones are okay... or, at least, they haven't recalled any. Nabisco has publically stated on their website that they never bought any paste from Peanut Corp.

I did the research, because I have a pack of them every morning for breakfast :P

So this is what we've come to not just in China but also here at home. I've had food poisoning 3 or 4 times when I was younger and living in the East! Lot's of water and about a 1-2 grams of vitamin C every hour for 12-24 hours will induce diarrhea and purge your system. If your immune system is in working order you will start to recover by the next morning and merely feel like you have had a bit too much to drink...a bit hungover.

Don't drink the water unless boiled for 10 minutes, and always carry your own chopsticks and a bowl?

Salmonella, etc., can be beaten. I've done it on my own...but it's better not to get it in the first place.

And as for this guy, the Peanut MAN. He's a Dirt-bag.

I had SOME kind of food poisoning in the service, and, SWEET JESUS, did it suck!
Imagine projectile vommiting, from BOTH ends!
Corpsman didn't believe I was actually sick, until I just about redecorated the sickbay.
Then he gave me a shot of ???? which knocked me OUT for 2 days.

This a$$clown pleading the 5th, won't be protected for long. I'm sure every local, state & fed official is gunning for this guy NOW!
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

    :D

6 raw oysters served in shot glasses put me down in Reno...stayed overnight in the hospital with them pumping the IV with drugs. The dehydration from the double projectile vomiting was really bad....they knew what made me sick from the stool spray....thats one job I dont want.

This guy needs to be dealt with harshly for his actions...he knowingly put thousands at risk. Confiscated emails and eyewitnesses means his pleading the fifth is just going to make it worse for him at trial.

I hope Bubba lets him taste some peanut butter.......

Yeah, I say feed him some "taint-ed" peanut butter, right from the "factory", if you know what I mean.
