Center speaker needed for my RT1000p

Hello, I need your expertise to select a center speaker for my RT1000p. Because of size restrictions, I am looking for ones not longer than 18.5 inches, so I started looking at the CS400. However, they seem hard to come by, especially here in the DC area. My question is: how would the CS245 and CS300 match with my front speakers? That would leave me more options when searching for them. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

With the long run in mind, I'd say hold out for a cs400 or maybe a cs350. While i think the others you will match....seems like they could be a little over powered by your mains. Just my 2 cents.

The best centers to use would either be the cs1000p, or the cs400/400i. don't compromise by getting the cs245i, in the long run you will wish you waited for the better speaker to come around.

You guys are right. I really want a CS400, but I was trying to find ways to justify buying the others because of my impatience. In the end, I might as well wait a little longer and hopefully find one around where I live. Thanks for your opinions.

To bad...you just missed out on a CS1000p that ended on ebay a couple days ago. It looked like a badass center channel...

Hey Messiah, I live in Vienna, VA. I sent you a quick email. BTW, regarding the deal you just found on the Phoenix craigslist posting, why can't I find those around DC? I must be looking at the wrong times.

While I'm at it, what rear surround speakers would any of you recommend to pair up with RT1000p? Thanks, guys.

So, what rear surround speakers are recommended for the RT1000p?

Best bet would probably be fx1000. I have a feeling that they will be VERY hard to find though, so look for the fx500's as an alternative. That or you could always get another set of rt1000p's as surrounds:D

Thanks Messiah. I was actually looking at the OWM3, mostly because I wanted a rear speaker less conspicuous and versatile. Would this be a good option if combined with the RT1000p and CS400? Anyone, feel free to pitch in your opinion.
