Hi

I am looking to get a new pair of fronts and will move my RTIA5's to the rears. I have an oportunity to get a pair of B&W P6's for 700.00 CND, and was wonderring what you guys think of me using them with my RTIA5's. One reason I want them is they are cherry like my current speakers and my polk supplier does not have a pair of RTIA7's or RTIA9's in cherry left.

By the way I have a Yamaha RX-V861 A/V amp

I know these aren't polk but just wanted to get some feedback.

Thanks in Advance

your B&W will love to see more power than the yami can provide. The RTi A5 need more power in my opinion as well... I have the same receiver as yours, and I can honestly say my front speakers did not come alive until I hit them with far more juice. Get the new speakers but plan on getting a nice to channel amp to run them or you will not get the full benefit of them...
The Gear... Carver "Statement" Mono-blocks, Mcintosh C2300 Arcam AVR20, Oppo UDP-203 4K Blu-ray player, Sony XBR70x850B 4k, Polk Audio Legend L800 with height modules, L400 Center Channel Polk audio AB800 "in-wall" surrounds. Marantz MM7025 stereo amp. Simaudio Moon 680d DSD
