Saw several posts regarding using an LSi 9 for a center rather than the LSiC. Anyone done a comparison between the two?

The LSiC is the better choice by design but I've seen multiple dual LSi9 center channels in my travels.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I like the LSIc....great imaging and clarity, not too heavy, fits nicely on a shelf and blends in perfectly with the 9's.
