RDO Monitor 5 Jr - $100
I'm finally parting with my Monitor 5 Jrs that I got from Cambir. The cabs have been beat, but sonically the speakers are fantastic. All the MWs and PRs are clean and tacky, and the baskets have been deadened. I upgraded them with RDO194s and rebuilt the crossovers using Jantzen caps and Mills resistors. I also installed foam on the interior walls on the cabinets and installed new binding post. Even now I'm still impressed with how good a pair of these little speakers can sound. These speakers are tube friendly as I have been using them with both my 16wpc tubes and 500wpc Carver, and both with good success.
Right now I am only offering them as local pick-up, but I may consider shipping down the road. If you do live local, I'd love for you to swing by and have a listen.
