Hey there I was wondering since I am not using the wall mounts on the RTIA1's, can I remove the wall mounts and rubber feet that keep the speaker off the wall. I want to do this since it is large and noticed but it looks as though it may serve some purpose for venting as well.

Thanks.

that is the polk "power port". it is the tuned port that allows for low base notes to be produced my a speaker with fewer drivers.

That's more than just a wall mounting plate...it serves as a power port. Removing it would change the sound quite a bit. I'd leave it on.
