I would choose either the B&K EX-442 Sonata or the Belles 400 Stereo. Both are 200wpc and the B&K offers balanced inputs if that is something you are interested in. (The Belles may also, but I'm not sure).

I am leaning leaning towards the Belles, but I just don't know. I've heard really good things about them, just never heard them. By the time I get to buying anything balances, the amp I buy will either be replaced, or relegated to strictly HT use. Right now, I'm running an HT setup, but still love 2ch for music. The amp will be use back and forth between a Denon AVR-785 for HT, and a B&K pro-10mc for 2 ch(unless I pick up either the madnipans, or magnaplaners that are up for sale about 100 miles from me:)) what to do , what to do. Oh yeah, and I still wanna get my ears on some tubes.

What ever you decide to buy..........be sure to do some comparison with the Adcom before you send it packing. I've heard pricier amps that just didn't float my boat. This is a good practice every time you look to upgrade a component because the next thing might not always be better.

The Adcom is long gone, had to sell it over a year ago to make ends meet. Now I'm pretty much back in the market to get a new toy., I don't know, I might just get an amp thats a little cheaper, and pick up some PBJ's and a dac, I don't know, I'd also like to see a cs 350 sitting above my TV. But for the small coin I have to spend The 2 ch will win over a center channel.

Ah, ok....it's still good practice if it can be done.

Don't see how you could go wrong with that.

It's a very nice amp, but I am pretty sure he would need an A1 for SDA's.
