    Wow, I feel a whole lot better having paid $400 (but am happy regardless). I would not consider selling unless some 2.3tls came along close by. Still, it's always nice to know the price is going up and people recognize what a great speaker the 1C is. I guess with the missing "real" IC that puts the price around $600 + $200 shipping.

    If in good shape, they will be fully depreciated at some point. At that time, they are more like oil: the value becomes the replacement cost which is a function of new speaker prices too.

    I really want a pair of 1C's...those are the only SDA's I've ever heard...and that was only briefly. About 20 minutes or so...that 20 minutes was a very significant 20 minutes though...lol Needless to say...I was completely blown away by them.

    When I'm ready to pick up my first pair of SDA's, the 1C's are gonna be where it's at for me.
